The looks is disappointing, I like the current G35 coupe more overall, but the performance sounds good & pretty tempting though . . .

But anytime the going gets twisty and you're driving in the upper reaches of the power band, the G will leave the 3 Series in its wake with better top-end punch and a more performance-focused chassis.

I have very mixed feelings about it, definitely not as eye catchy as the G35 coupe when it first came out. Im waiting for the 2009 Z, that should really be a stunner if they incorporate GT500 cues.

Now i hope they can put that nice engine in a sedan and im in for one because this new coupe just dont cut it. too bland and no difference from the old one except for the front, but god this is absolutely different from the concept. Hopefully someone will come out with a new front end thats similar to the concept.

I think the sedan has already met it's target competitor in terms of performance/price in it's category.
The coupe targets the 335i and the likes, and the 3.7L motor is quite interesting with its Valvetronic-like feature.
I'll probably decide between trading the Z in for the G37 (Needs $$ to make it look more sporty), or save up for the GT-R (Looks fine the way it is for the most part).
