Question Anyone jump on the iforged group buy?

If so, what size wheel and offset did you go with? I'm thinking about putting some on a coupe.

Good luck...I faxed an order in on 4/9, called 4 times, and emailed twice since then without any response at all...what a way to run a business.

My order goes in at the end of this week. I know iForged has been swamped and they posted here recently that they hired two new salespeople so hopefully things will get better. I will let you know how they respond to my order as I will be calling them to follow-up.

I was going to, but I've heard about some questionable quality concerns.
I had Privat Fahren's that I sold to help fund the Iforged. Then I changed my mind, and the fact I really liked the Privat wheels. So I bought another set. Only this time I decided to be a guinea pig on offset's, so instead of 40mm offset, I got 20mm (f) and 25mm (r). They look (and fit) incredible. The G appears to have larger wheel wells than the Z, so now the wheels fill out the wells.

My signature pic below is with the 40mm offset w/ 8mm spacers (32mm offset) and this pic is with the new 20 & 25 offsets.

What quality problems have you heard about iForged?

The members here that have purchased their wheels have high praise for the quality. I know the customer service part of it has been questioned but that's about it.

I ordered my 19" aero's yesterday. I haven't heard any conformation of my order, but i'm pretty confident that it's been processed. It's difficult to contact them and I'm constantly getting a full voice mail box, but from the looks of it, the wheels are worth all the aggervation. Everyone that i've talked to about their Iforged wheels has nothing bad to say about the wheels. I feel like i'm bothering them by calling about my order. I know that they're very busy and have taken on alot of new customers so I try to be understanding of that. I guess only time will tell and hopefully i'll be enjoying my new wheels soon.

I never had a problem calling them. I call the number listed on their website, and ask for vince.

A few people have said they were not happy with the finish and build quality.

Now don't get me wrong, I have not seen this first hand, and the people telling me this have move money than. . . . . we'll let's just say they are nit picky.

I personally think the Iforged are beautiful, but I didn't care to wait and am happy with my Privat's.

They aren't the same quality as HRE's, but they are nice still.

2003z, just wondering about the luster on the polished lip. Your pictures and rodH's pictures were taken in sunlight and there is a little bit of a glare. Does the lip have a high polish look to it in person? I've seen pics. of the Volk GT-C's and even the Privat in this thread and the polish on the lip is quite evident whereas on the iForged I don't see it as bright. I appreciate your comment on this.

yes, the lip is highly polished. I dont care for how the brush marks go different directions at the edges though, and noticed some dust in the clear coat.

I faxed my order to them Thursday evening. I stated on my order that I would like them to acknowledge receipt of my order via email. I haven't received anything yet. I called yesterday afternoon and I told the girl that answered that I wanted to make sure they got my order and she switched me to a voice mail that belonged to "Ryan". I left him a message with my home phone number telling him that I would appreciate him letting me know he got the order. I haven't heard back from him. I will keep bugging them next week and let you know what happens.

I have placed my order in the first group guy at the end of Jan. and have yet to receive mine.

I am willing to wait since my coupe won't be here until the end of June but the wait is getting rediculous? 90 Days and counting! That's how long it takes to build the coupe once you get your order in.

As of two weeks ago a rep. at Iforged stated that they are being painted at an external company which tends to take a while and that I should be recieving them within the next couple of weeks.

All of the wheels from the first groupbuy are shipping at the end of this week. The second groupbuy Aeros have already gone in production. If anyone has a question on their order they can email me at vwong@iforged.com Also if you can't reach me there are other sales reps that can take your call. You can ask for Steve, Ryan, Sam, or me.
