I'm not that technical so maybe this is a dumb question but how are you going to make all this hardware play nicely with the computer on the car? Sensors? etc... ? Is all the electrical going to be custom? Sorry if I'm asking a question someone already posted. I didnt read a few of the pages.

Not a dumb question for a first post. The other guy who did this swap had a hell of a time getting everything running together well. I'd have faith in Tecni though and audible mayhem

I will be running the stock Q45 computer at first. Just to get the car up and running. I'll be leaving the G35 ECU in to run the A/C and possibly the throttle body (drive by wire).

I just took the necessary measurements.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been busting my @$$ on the beater. Seems like anything that can go wrong does go wrong on that car. I had to get new axles and spindles since the old ones were all jammed together.

Looks like the eclipse will finally run tomorrow.

It might be beneficial to reachout to Quamen for ideas/input. You two seem to have about the same fabrication skills and passion. :-)

Here's a link.

Here's an intake he drew up - looks a lot like yours~

Subscribing....... ...

and changing my boxers.

VERY impressive fab skills, that manifold is a thing of beauty and should love the FI. Also, I found the randomn eclipse build pictures cool as well, great info on that scwhitzer, I'm currently working on an extensive 1G project for one of my customers, swapping the built motor from his fwd talon into his awd, and I was pretty set on running an HX40

His is angled though. There might be clearance issues with the one that the other dude created.

Beater = 600 hp (goal GSX) lol. I love how you call this car your "beater".

Hope it's up and running!!!

Lol. That manifold has been redesigned a number of times already and is substantially different with the same basic idea.

I would be willing to help if you need assistance with any CAD work.

My manifold is based on the same company's products as tenci is using. We just picked up Ross Machine Racing for 928M but will be using the extrusion that is shown in that CAD drawing and not the 5" D plenum that Tenci has.
