stuck in a suspension installation, plz help!
SO I am installing coilovers in my 05 coupe. I did the drivers side of the car already. I am working on the passenger side front now and encountering a problem
I removed the sway bar nut which faces the front of the car. But when I remove that nut it changes the angle (the sway bar moves up a bit which makes the bottom of the screw hit the suspension arm) of the screw it's coming off of. The angle of the sway bar link screw changes in such a way that I can't get it out. I tried banging on it with a rubber mallet, I tried using a hammer with a piece of wood in between. I even tried changing the height/angle of the other side of the car and still no luck.
Do I need to take the sway bar off on the other side? I am hoping to avoid that. Any ides would be much appreciated.

Do you only have one side of the car in the air? I know that when I installed my sway bars, I was told to get both sides off the ground. Otherwise the sway bar would move once off of the entlink due to pressure from the other side.
I put both sides in the air and, when I removed the endlinks, the bar just sat there with no tension. Very easy to work with.
*edit* I see the jack stand in the picture. I'm not sure why the bar wants to move, but it could be from tension on the other side of the sway bar. Although with both sides in the air, I'm not sure what could be causing it.
The suspension should be completely unloaded on both sides. Is anything pushing up on the other side relative to the side you are working on?

^^^Remember doing mine on my 06 coupe on a lift and both end links off for fronts.
Still was a pita to get the bottom bolt through on lower coil over mount
Reminds me...I need to get a spring compressor for future height/preload adjustments.
Would've made initially front install much easier.
