Default Back in the game!

This post has a deep and profound meaning to me.

I am proud to say that after several years of being Z-less I am picking up my long overdue car this weekend.

Well I should say that back in 03 I bought a new PPW touring and several months later I had to get rid of her.
My new(preowned) 04 g35 will be picked up Friday. I have learned my lesson well in not buying new as my former Z and current truck were bought new.
But the.new ride is pretty sweet.

It is loaded minus navigation, with moon roof and tinted windows. The best part is the service my dealer has given me.

Because the car was so new to the lot they had not yet received the title and I was forced to wait a week to pick up. Because of the inconvience they are given me 2 years free oil change, 4 full detail sessions, free loaner car for life of car if the shop plus $200 in gas cards.

I know you all think a G is kinda tacky(four seats and all) but this was the most I could talk my wife into letting me get.

In truth, I am waiting for the gt-r so this will suffice for now.

Its great to be back(almost) and I soon will have to refresh my stock of zanio and really make her shine.

Till later.

G's are nice. They are the more expensive version of our cars. It is a brother to ours and I'm not quite sure why people are so hostile towards them. They are basically a 4 seater Z with a few softer touches to them. Nothing wrong with that.

I do like the sportier feeling that I get in the Z. But, the G is still pretty sporty and will keep up on the track if it is set up right.

Congrats and welcome back !!!!

You know I can honestly say that literally everytime I have seen a Z I am instantly brought back to those first feelings of my old car.

Sitting in the drivers seat and starting the engine and seeing all the lights come to life. Bringing the steering wheel down to drive position. Turning on the HID headlights and watching them focus themselves.

I can visualize the entire interior. Not a single bad memory just pure bliss. I hope that I am not disapointed.

You won't be disappointed. My wife and I have had many a great times in the Z's we have owned. She only complains on the the long trips the it's a little bouncy because of the sport suspension. However, you won't have those problems in the G. The G has a much softer feel to it even though when pushed it firm up great and still pulls the same numbers around the track.

I don't see how you could lose with your decision. The G is a great choice !!!
