I am backing up the s2000. I think the s2000 can easily take out z with an experienced driver. And by the way Nissan boys. its vtec not V-Tech. Thank you. I'm off to go race my dads 350z against my turbo civic.

I didn't curse or tell him to shove anything anywhere. I simply tailored my response to his FIRST POST EVER on this forum in which he let us know that his dad has a 350Z and he has a turbo civic in a very rice-boyish way.

I really doubt that anyone on here cares that he's going to go street race his dad's car against his (probably without his father's permission). And I also don't appreciate him calling us "Nissan boys" and assuming that just because one member typed v-tech that all us "Nissan boys" think that's how it's spelled or don't know anything about it.

Basic fact was his first post was major troll material, and I made an amusing remark about it. I didn't attack him or curse or harass him in any way that he didn't deserve.

Your post was just plain looking to pick a fight and I'm not about to lower myself to your level and start acting like a child.

Furthermore, I really could care less if his car is faster than mine, would that somehow make him justified in his childish post?

i like s2000's alot but the vast majority doesnt have a clue how to drive them. i only know one guy local with one, now that all this is going on ill see if hell race me, hes stock shoud we consider that fair?

 

Here this thread was going great with a bunch of guys messing around with their cars getting a fair race on and these S2K guys had to come along and ruin it. Please go away and leave MrS2K here.

What ever happened with this??? I would love to mess around with your S2K. Even though I may not win, it will all be in good fun. I have gotten a best of 14.08 @ 101.75 and LI Motorsports Park. I live in Sayville (very close to Port Jeff) and I go to school at Stony Brook (Though I don't drive the G). Maybe we can meet up sometime at the Bald Hill Car show on Tuesday and see what happens. I know I can find someone to film it for us.....Just don't rub it in too much if you beat me!!

The s2000 is no way slower then the 350z I raced a stock one stick of course and I was stock and we were neck to neck until I got to 3rd gear were i started to pull on him a little the 350z cant compare to the s2000 in handiling that heave tank please it needs what 287 horsepower to keep up with a inline four 2.0 liter 240 horsepower s2000 dude the 350z is has a damm v6 3.5 liter thats weak even the supra has a smaller engine then that and will kill the z I know it has turbos but still the z is just a tank screw it the body kits eveything after market looks bad on it and there are so many cars that look just like the z, at least four othe r cars do. I would rather have the 300zx then that.

I'm not at all into street racing, but we might need to have a friendly roll-on "contest" to see if that other S2000 driver didn't know what he was doing. My previous runs w/ 350Z's have shown them to be remarkably evenly matched, so hopefully I could do as well or better vs. your G35c.

 

Did anyone read that article in motortrend, or was it Road and Track about the 5 roadsters they compared. Among them was the s2k and the 350z roadster. How much heavier is the roadster z than the hardtop? I remember reading that in the quater mile the Honda beat the Nissan by like a tenth. But over 100 mph the Nissan owned everything. I think if both drivers had similar driving abilities that it would be a hell of a race and not a walking by either cars. I would love to witness this dual.
