i just put money down for a new Black G35 coupe and have been wondering if it has been pre wired for XM radio. The guy at the dealership said that all cars with Vin # of 215 and higher are pre wired but when i called infinity customer serivce they told me only the ones manufactured in june and later will be pre wired for XM.
my Coupe has 217 as its VIN# but the sales rep still cant figure out if the car has it or not.
i was wondering if anyone has any concrete info on when and which models will be prewired for XM radio??

I just picked up my black coupe 2 days ago and it was prewired, so I would be willing to bet yours will be also...

And you will love it...haha...I have just been driving and sitting in it for the 36 hours I have had it

 

Mine is 216xxx and is prewired. Installed the receiver yesterday and it's awsome.
