Here is the difference between the Japanese and American specs 02+ Skyline.

characteristic of the V35 Skyline

- shorter rear bumper
- no analog clock
- doesnt have infiniti seats
- have 3 different engine
- have 3 different transmission (6MT/5AT for coupe and 5AT/8CVT for sedan)
- speedo only have 0-180KM/H
- navigation buttons are in japanese
- nissan badge
- skyline badge
- different colors avaliable
- white cost 30000 yen more
- have digital clock
- 350GT8 have paddle shift
- does not have homelink
- condom holder on both side of the center console (G35 only have it on the right)
- driver side door's map holder can be open up like the FX45
- more options such as
- folding mirrors
- rear view camera
- side view camera
- 350GT features drill pedal as standard
- 350GT have suede/leather seats
- have snow/normal mode button
- have alot of choices in carpet
- door sills say SKYLINE
- avaliable with AWD
- have Electronic Toll Collector
- have optional Variable Sound Muffler
- have BiXenon option
- rear turn signal is amber not red
- offers Blistein suspension upgrade option
- bridgestone RE040 tires for the coupe
- able to watch TV with the navi system
- steering wheel have Nissan badge
- many choices of carpet
- Right Hand Drive

your RHD?

i thought of changing everything (i already want the mom 3 spoke steering wheel) to nissan 350GT setup but theres always gonna be that clock to say "look im an infiniti"

who would wanna change to RHD in the first place

later when i have a turbo setup, all i'll see is 3 gauges blocking the stupid infinti clock

well you said you converted it,
changing the badges isnt converting it.
thats why i asked.

personally i think theres a certain charm about RHD, parking structures are hell, but at least you can take the short line at In'n'out.

for the 03 sedan... it wasnt really the simple rebadging....

i had to buy a brand new grill with nissan badge and also a brand new trunk release from japan.

the coupe on the other hand is a simple rebadge job.

coupe needs a new grille as well
steering wheel still says infniti
and so do the seats

really?

i've seen quite a few ppl changing their badge from Nissan to Infiniti in Japan and Infiniti to Nissan on their coupes. they all say the grille is shared.

looks like my emblem is part of the grill to me
ive tried taking it off out of curiosity.
its not giving.
either way im getting an aftermarket grill from gialla nice and sporty.

hmmm...I love the grill on the gialla kit, but I like the bumper on the Impul kit better with the open mouth....

so many things to spend my money on!
