speedometer not working???

a buddy of mine with an 04 g35 is having problems with his speedometer and odometer not working. anyone know what could be causing this? a fuse maybe? He says it hasnt been working in 2 days. any help would be appreciated.

mine was loose wiring in the back.. I wiggled that around and it worked..
