Default New Toys

got some new toys and some service done:

JWT Lightweight Flywheel, from dual disk, to single disk 14 lbs... YAY!:

JWT Clutch, carbon-kevlar composite(???):

JWT Pressure Plate: HEAVY DUTY, but this is good!:

Surprisingly BIG assembly as a whole... you can see the bearings up top on the right of the Pressure plate:

bearings:

Stainless steel braided clutch line - keeps pedal more constant during hard runs and stuff:

Services:
Oil Change with synthetic blend oil
Changing brake fluid and clutch fluid to something with a higher boiling point than stock.
getting 02 sensors checked to see if they are bad or my non-foulers are not working...
topping off all fluids.

I wish i had video of the last mile after i saw the dealership... needless to say, there was little to none clutch left at all, and it was burning out the bottom of the car... i played it off like i was having to do that to get it there... NOT... it was fun sitting at 5k and going like 5 mph for half a mile... good times. I am having them give me the old materials so i can hang them in my wall in my room.

Good times!!! 13's here i come!

Kevin

did you compare that "carbon-kevlar composite" clutch to your oem one? Um... well.... basically the same damn clutch with a modified hub. essentially you replaced your oem clutch with an oem clutch

Congrats though

its not a triple puck clutch or anything but im running one as well and its holding way more power than an oem one and is so much smoother, jwt clutch's have been know to handle up to 500 hp, highly underrated and completely streetable. it will prove well for NA setups
