350z coils in a G
I just purchased a set of greddy type-s coil overs for a 350z. Now i dont have the instruction manual or anything as a reference when installing these. How do I know the height to set these on before installing? Any help would be great, thanks! also will i even be able to use 350z coils on my g35? from reading around it seems like alot of stuff is interchangable, but on the greddy site the 350z and g35 coil overs are slightly different(diff part numbers)
hrmm im still worried...i talked to the greddy rep and he said there is slight differences which may cause the coil to blow. i dont know if this is becuase of the 20mm difference in length in the front or what. i dont really see it as posing a problem unless im losing suspension travel due to this. Here is the link to the greddy site where the 2 different coils are located. thanks for the help guys

As alway's, any 350Z based spring or coilover will drop a G35 coupe or sedan a greater amount, generally +.5" and +1" respectively.
The Greddy-S coilover setup has full height adjustablity. The use of longer springs mean's that the minimum drop will be 20mm/10mm higher on the G35 setup vs the 350Z setup. This is not to be confused with the above fact's, you simply will add .5" to the min and max drop specs and you have your G35 coupe drop specs. Since I'm positive the product is spec made by BcRacing, I wouldn't think they have any drop specs, I could be wrong however.
"...i talked to the greddy rep and he said there is slight differences which may cause the coil to blow." Almost looks like it's a response where you said, oh I don't care just guess what you think the answer would be, sorry he shouldn't be answering their tech line.
Bottom line, install then as you would any full height adjustable coilover setup, worry about nothing.
