kinda curious myself on how you separated the lens. should make a DIY outta this.

Separating the lens is very easy. First find any screws that hold the lens and the headlight backing together and remove them. Second, set your oven to 215, put a cookie sheet on the lowest rack, and place the headlights on it for 10-15 minutes. After that just pry them apart.

In the corners the paint looks dusty? or sort of like sand? on mine
it might be because of the place you painted it dust couldve gotten onto the paint while it dried. gotta try doing it in the cleanest place possible. i had the same problem when i painted my grill for my G.. got dust prticles on it and a hair. i was very upset.
