Default Question about purchasing an '03 G35

I went to the dealer today looking for a 350z, but I saw an 03 G35 that grabbed my attention. It has everything including the Nav system. Final price was 22,500 for the car. I decided to wait till tomorrow so I could research a little more about the model of the car and stuff and see if its a good deal. The miles for the car on the odometer say it is 12,389, so I was a little skeptical about the miles on the car being an 03.

Checking CARFAX it says that the miles on the car is 34,000.... So my question is, could this be a typo when they inspected the car, or could have the dealer done something in order to sell the car for a better price. What should I do now. Should I get it, or get the '07 350Z for the same price with 19,000 base model....

Some suggestions would be great.

Thank you.

12,389 miles? 34,000 miles? That quite a discrepancy. Why not pass on this one.

The price seems a bit steep for an '03. And I wouldn't touch it at any price unless you a very clear understanding of the confusion in the mileage. Either one is certainly low miles for a 6 year old, but you want to know the real deal first on the actual mileage.

Unless they somehow come up with a honest story I would stay clear of it, personally. Thats a big difference, and Im sure they have seen the carfax. My 03 coupe had 48kish on it and was purchased for $16.7k to give you something to compare to. 32k is a years worth of driving less but $22k is still pretty steep. You can go for something much newer if thats in your price range.
