Ok so we got this new guy at work who drives an 04 "Skyline" he says is straight from Japan. This all started when he said he could take me in my car 07 touring 350z. I was pretty sure the G35's were just badged as skylines over seas and that the new 350z engines are the same as the 03-whenever G engines. So the question is there a difference in the "Skyline" in Japan and the G's over here, besides the steering wheel position?
Thanks for your help.

exterior lighting (tail lights, side markers, headlights), electronic folding side-mirrors, digital clock on interior as opposed to analogue clock, seating has no stitching, probably others.
You're engine is more powerful as well since 07-08 Z's have the VQ35HR as opposed to 03-07 G35/Skyline coupes, 03-06 G35/Skyline Sedans, 03-06 350/Fairlady Z's which all have the VQ35DE.
HR standing for High Response or High Rev with about 30 more hp than the DE engine.
He probably just has the JDM badges but it doesn't matter, your car is faster even if he has an actual Skyline. Tell him you'll race him for slips, if his car is stock.
