Thanks for posting the news, their are lot's of people here that want to know how the basic's are. However, I urge you to drive the car awhile before you really spill the beans of how they are. Temper your replies with, "these are just my initial impressions". I've modified several suspensions in my time and my initial impressions didn't always stay true, one system that I thought was great, latter got pulled because of bad behavior that I only latter discovered.

Again thanks posting,

Default Thanks

Thanks for the praise guys. I will definatly keep you guys in the loop as far as the coilovers go. I've only put about 60 miles on them so far, i love the way they feel. Since there is no dapening adjustment, and i'm not too familiar on how the flex system feels, I couldn't do a comparison. But, if anyone lives in the south orange county area i'd be happy to take them for a ride to demonstrate! I coudln't justify spending 40 grand on a car and only changing the springs... just seems the cheap way to go..

Dude, if you already own a 350z, you already have a bad ride. Anything but stock will help the ride in that car. I know my boss has a 350z and its way too bouncy...

Well i've had them for over a week now and still love them. They are way more stiff than stock. If you are worried about having that stock feel then this is not the suspension for you. That would be more towards the HKS hypermax or the tein CS, both twice as much as this system $$. This system never bottoms out, keeps the car level at all times with no roll, and gives me a good feel for the car. I love it.

No problem . Anyone living in the area can go for a ride if they want a feel of how it is.

I am also VERY interested on your thoughts of the basic setup. You said that your boss had a Z, and that it had a bouncy ride, how would you compare his ride to your present setup with the basics??? Are you saying that you have no bounce with the basics?? I know that it is much stiffer than the stock G35, but of course, I wonder how much stiffer it is than the Z setup.

Any more of your impressions would be MUCH appreciated. I am on the edge of these or some roll bars, but I would rather have a coilover kit cause it solves the problem that I have more than the sway bars I think.

BTW, at what level do you get to adjust the ride height?? On the tein site, it says like 1/.8 F/R, but then under min and max, it says different numbers. Which is it?

I have to agree with narkotic about the HKS hypermax LS. I had it over a month and the ride is very confortable. One other g35 owner also think my ride is much more confortable than the stock.

Had my aligment done and still i am off on the back. The aligment place told me that he need another 1.5 degree to 2 to adjust back to factory. Oh well...live goes on. BTW, the HKS does not come with dampering adjustment nor camber adjustment.

Btw narkotic, did you get your aligment done? How off were your car in the rear?

I just recently add the eibach anti-roll bar. Well my car now is little stiffer and off course, take the corner like a charm. Again i only have the eibach installed last saturday. If you ever decide to get anti roll bar kit, please get the Nismo. I think for the price, it well worth it. The reason why i said that is that the eibach and the factory are the same diameter. The Nismo seem to be bigger in diameter, so can i assume that bigger better? heheh

Default hey guys

Daytona : Let me know when you want to meet up, I work in the irvine area from 9-5 and after 5 i'm in aliso viejo.

little rod: i'm going to go with a ride on the 350z sometime soon and i'll get back to you

g35: odd thing is, the alignment guy never told me I was off, kind of a shady place..where did you go? I got my alignment done as soon as i got my coilovers put on, with a 90 day guarentee. I'm going to go back pretty soon to have them verify the alignment and tell me how far it is off.. I didn't lower the rear that much, it's the front end i'm worried about. I know theres no adjustment in the front unless I change the a-arms? How far off were you in the front g35-mt?

Hey narkotic, do you have any issues with bounce on interstates and such??? I really want to know cause the bounce issue is a big one with the Z, and I am looking for something to solve that. You say it is stiff, and while I don't have too big of a problem with that, I do wonder about bounce.
