Default Thinking about a g.

Hello all I have been on this site a couple times for some sales of parts and what not but I just recently found an infiniti g35 with brembo's 04 model with 50,000 miles. So needless to say I'm in a mad rush to get rid of everything on my sentra to get the g. Now I have driven a couple g's but never flat out. I'm curious if you could go back would you buy a different car? what do you love about your g and what do you hate about it? Any thing I should look out for in general when I go get mine? Thanks for any help and excuse my noobness. I am going to be using the car as a daily driver/ drifter/ autox'er. I don't want to go crazy just some decent all around bolt ons. Thanks for any information guys.

My 04' G Couple was a great car. I do miss it, and had shopped for another one not too long ago. It's a little heavy to be a good autox car, and a little expensive (IMO) to thrash on as a drift car, but to each his own. I had to put a new transmission in mine with only 2k miles, so be sure to get the VIN and go to a dealer to see what/if any warranty/recall/TSB work has been done to it.

Ask your question on the other site, you will get better responses.

You have actually gotten more replies here than I did when I asked a similar question on G35Driver.com. Anyway, I just bought an '04 sedan two months ago and I am already thinking about selling it to buy an '05. On paper, the '05-'06 (6MT) has almost 40 more HP. I went and test drove one recently and it felt stronger.

If it's within your budget, you might want to consider that. Hope this helps.
