Picked up a new G37 Sedan!
Actually its over 3700lbs. But the 0-60 is 5.1 seconds. No 350z ever had a time like that. It would be a great race.
G37 has more HP and 3.7FD but heavier.
Nismo is heavier then a Regular HR, Less hp then the G37 with 3.5FD.

OK- you've got the 'S'; for where you live that makes sense. As for oil, I've been using the free Ester enhanced oil with the free dealership changes. Once that ends, I'm with you and will use GTX 5-30 until the VQ37VHR is well and truly broken in. Then I plan to go with Castrol GC 0W-30 unless there's too much valve or top end chatter--in which case I'll go with a ester-enhanced synthetic like Redline 5W-40.

Nope just trying to decide which oil gets used on my G37. David does Castrol make a ester-enhanced synthetic? Looks like to me Motul & Redline are two ester based synthetics.

I was originally planning on a 2010 too. The current Infiniti incentives were too good to pass up IMHO. As I said in my first statement:
I had intended on waiting on a 2010 G37 sedan but with the current incentives on the 2009's I decided to see what kind of deal I could get. I checked locally and they had two G37 sedans with the Sport, Nav and Premium packages like I wanted. One was Platinum graphite and one Liquid Platinum. Both had a MSRP of $41525 and included the Sport, Nav, Premium packages as well as the splash guards and cargo net.
MSRP $41525.00
Invoice $38015.00
Price OTD including $199 doc fee, $300 sales tax and $41 tag is:
Purchase price $34500

Nope, the dealer does the first few as part of the deal. It's important to keep your receipts to show you used products that meet or exceed the Infiniti tech recommendations. I do plan on doing my own oil changes in the future.
