So something I have been wanting to do is remove some wiring. There was so much of it. Tonight I didn't want to do the same **** as I have been doing. So I only removed seam sealer for about an hour or two and I moved to dewiring the car.

Here is some pics of some of the clean up I did on the rear saddle.

Here is a little preview of the wire stripping. Looks much better now.

This is what I took out... It literally felt like 6-10 lbs of ****. (I own a mastiff, I know what 10lbs of **** weighs.. ;-)

Trust me you aren't the only one. I found out there are two clips you can pull out of that main harness. I would have saved more time but it's all good. I Need to repair two wires I cut.Hopefully the other side soon. Not to forget all the AC system wiring. I'm going to have lights on in the dash like a mother... maybe custom gauge setup?

It's a pain i will say that. I'm thinking of going painless and rewiring everything. I will know monday if this will happen.

Some more goodies...

My Stance XR's came in today. Things are crazy. Definitely no regret. First set in the U.S. for Z33/V35 platform sold. You can get these from www.intensepower.com or call Pete and let him know you saw these for my car. Worth every penny.

In case I forgot this... Rods and Pistons.
Many people feel the need to bore the motor cylinders. I did not. Stock bore on Rods that can handle 1000whp.

So i'm going to try to install them tomorrow night (coilovers) and compare them to what I have now. will have pics.

Everything I need for the motor is done and here. We are waiting on my fuel system. Debating E85 if I can come up with the cash. Some surprises with the ProEFI maybe.

I am an aircraft electrician, as long as I have a good schematic, I could plug away at wires all day, BUT I am excited to see where you go with all this, I am sure most of those wires go to the antenna amp, speaker amp and misc lighting that is no longer needed. good luck!

^ I pulled out all that stuff. I have plenty left to pull out. If we do the new wiring, I will have 3 wires going to the back and 3 to the motor. I am going to probably do a custom gauge setup with Tach, Fuel and Boost. This is my other device:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8NBTU_ndLA

So tonight I took some time to install the rears since the back of the car is already on jack stands. It was a nice quick install. The quality of these XR's are unbelievable. I don't know they can be super slammed but nothing a cut off wheel can't fix to let it drop some more. I want low, side skirt scraping slam.

Here are some pics.

This is what I had before...

Thanks! I can't wait either. It's been a long time waiting to start this. The 385whp wouldn't hold me off forever. Lifting the head when my car over heated in Vegas gave me a good reason to start this.

Thumbs up

Hey Alex! I've been keeping up with the updates you post on Facebook, but didn't realize you started a thread over here on my350z too.

It's coming along nicely. You're definitely putting some quality parts in your build. I look forward to seeing your G in person soon!

I see the new stance coilovers popping up on choice cars and I am REALLY excited to see how they perform, unfortunately, your car and Broadfield's on Nico (white super clean S13 from like november 2010 modified mag cover) are under deep construction... I reallllllly want to see these things get put through their paces on the track and how they do on the daily drive.

Looks good! Who's building your engine? Or if you're building it yourself what machine shop are you using?

Thanks!

Intense is Building my motor. We didn't need a machine shop. Surprisingly my motor was still pretty good.
