I was just wondering. I know there the same car under the skin but I just haven't heard many complaints for the G owners.

I just traded my 03 Touring 6MT 350Z for an 04 G35C 6MT.

I can tell you the following:
The Infiniti Bose sounds much better than my Z Bose. Doesn't sound great but it is "acceptable"

No Grease Streaks

The transmission has a better feel when shifting

I did some research and could find any tire feathering complaints

I did have a couple of rattles that required a dealer visit. My Infiniti dealer's service department was a dramatic improvement over the Nissan dealer.
Grease streaks are an issue with some in the G35 crowd. I haven't had them yet.

People like to bytch about any stereo system ever. Same goes for Infiniti Bose. I guess I'm just a schmuck, but I really like the Bose in my G sedan. I've sat in all four seats, and they all sound just great to me. No complaints here.

Brake wear is a common issue. Infiniti has offered to work with owners on the issue of brake pads wearing out faster than most consumers are used to.

Rattles/creaks. Most any car will have those in the bunch. I have one, but it hasn't started to annoy me yet.

Lurk around on G35Driver and you'll get a good feel for the major issues.

3/36 warranty on the brakes. Reimbursement if you paid to have pads/rotors replaced.

I have grease streaks, my heated seat switches are reversed (no big deal really), and my front bumper is chipped like you wouldn't believe. There isn't much I can do about the bumper, almost all new cars have really thin paint and Nissan especially it seems. You might want to consider a clear bra.

Other issues I have heard about but not experienced: Car pulls to the right (compression rod TSB), driver seat rocks, poor gas mileage, uncomfortable front seats due to controls mounted on the side.
