Aftermarket parts and resale/trade-in
How does the installation of aftermarket parts affect the resale value of the vehicle? How about trade in value with dealerships? And lastly, I'm curious as to how the addition of non NO2 FI affects resale/trade-in. Thanks.

Unless you find an enthusiast who's into modding their cars and sell it privately, aftermarket parts will only DECREASE the value of your car. People know that a car with aftermarket parts will most likely have a shorter life due to the engine being driven harder than a non-modded car. Best thing to do if planning on selling or trading in is to remove all aftermarket places and replace them with the OEM parts. Sell the aftermarket parts seperately to recoup costs.

Trust me when I say you won't get a dime for any after-market parts. I did nothing to my engine but I did gut my speakers and added Infinity Kappas front and rear. All I got was a smile....I know someone took them out and replaced them with the factory crap again. Wasted cash....I was apart of the crew that used the old speakers to put the new ones in...Totally destroyed them. I can say I'm glad it's over with and I'm happy with my G35.
