I got my g35c and I took my Borla Exhasut to a perf shop to make the extension and replace my stock echaust so since its sa true dual exhaust he neded two 7 " pipes to make the extension.. anyways 2 hours later 175$$ ..lol i get home and realise that the tips look like they are to inn... they arent sticking out enough infact u can only see the tips from the back and not the side... so i call the dude up and he says well... than we would have to add a 2 inch pipe to the tips so its stick out more whicj can take 1 hour which means 75$ ! i am sooo pissed .. anyways its sounds awesome tho .. what should i do?

 

Should have taken it to a muffler shop, like I suggested. Would have been a lot cheaper I think.

 

I would have sold the Borla exhaust for the Z and bought the one for the G in the first place, but since you are in this predicament...

I would demand he fix the problem for free. He is an exhaust expert and knew what he was doing. Also, why did you pay him 175 before realizing it was wrong? You essentially waves all rights to complain about the job done once you drove away from the shop. Hopefully they will fix it for free if you are nice about it, but don't expect them to...

 

****! no he wont do it for free.. he said that he cut 2 pipes to extend the exhsaust system and that the tips are not the same... now i need to get the tips to come out... F-him! should I just go to a muffler shop to get the tips out?

 

Take it to a muffler shop and see how much they charge first. I think they probably could have done the job for under $100 w/ everything.

 

Go to a muffler shop with a case of beer... they'll do it under the table for ya.
