difference between g35 and g35x transmission?

difference between g35 and g35x transmission?

Ok so I know that the g35 is rwd and the g35x is AWD but I am curious if the transmissions are the same and there is a transfer case on the awd car or if the trans is totally different.

Ok thanks, I was curious because my brother has a g35 and I found a g35x trans for cheap and I was hoping it would work.
