Default VQ35DE engine sitting too high after JDM engine swap... HELP!!!

As the title states, I blew up my usdm VQ35de in my 03 touring 6speed Z..... I replaced the engine with a low miles jdm G35 VQ356DE auto.... The motor is in running fantastic but the engine is sitting too high in the engine bay to mount the strut tower bar ( i haven't even tried to mount my plenum spacer)... Does the g35 auto have diferent engine mount brackets that are longer? I have solid motor mounts that if this is the case I can cut them down the inch plus so all works again because I want to avoid disconnecting everything again to pull the motor out.

Only did that because it is both a G35 and 350Z question and I didn't see a crossover thread option. It really can go and "belongs" in both groups.

This is more a Z question and belongs in this forum. As to your question, I've never tried swapping a AT VO into a MT Z, but have to ask: you did compare the motor mounts on both engines BEFORE you threw it in, didn't you!? If not, you should still be able to put the car up on jack stands and get a tape measure to compare the size. No micrometer needed...

If you haven't already, swap to a set of Z1 motor mounts. They are adjustable so you can lower it to adjust for the bracket problem
