Default Can I just put eibach springs to lower my

g35 coupe... I only want to lower it 1.5 inches and use my stock shocks.... I was told that I owuld not blow my shocks if I only drop it 1 1/2 inches. Is this true? also how much should these springs cost me? Thanks

You should go with Eibach Pro Kit springs. Replacing the springs without the shocks probably will not blow out your shocks right away, but eventually over time the shocks will not be able to hang with the Eibachs. If you want to change the shocks, go with Tokico gas shocks. Or, save your pennies and then get a coilover kit. Tein Basics coilover for about $760. Other adjustable coilover kits range from $800 to $1,600. Check out www.hopupracing.com. They have the best prices before shipping that I have seen. Good luck with the suspension mod. Peace

Just springs are fine to do especially when the car is newer since you will have more life out of your shocks then anyway...

How long do you think the stock shocks will last if you just go with the springs? mileage-wise?
