I have noticed that in recent weeks my clutch has gotten noticably harder... my car has 8100 miles on it. Does anyone have an idea as to what may have caused this? It is getting to the point where it started off slightly harder and now it hurts my leg to shift. I doubt that my physical fitness has deteriorated to the point where i can barely walk. Any ideas? My guess is a faulty or bent pressure plate?

 

maybe you burnt your clutch? easy to do with these cars...

 

the clutch seems to be grabbing just fine... it just feels way stiffer than it originally was...
