Default New Injen SES Installed DAMN!!

I love the sound of this exhaust, it is so deep and so loud. If you have ever run straight headers on your G or Z just to see how it sounded (I couldn't resist), this exhaust sounds exactly like straight headers just a bit quieter. I really like this sound a lot better than the single pipe dual tip sound. I will try and post some video tomorrow so just wait a bit. Plus the resonators in this exhaust completely took care of ALL of the rasp and rattles from the test pipes(finally). The only trouble I had is that the exhaust need a couple more hangers becuase at first it totally rode on the crossmember and the whole setup moved around about 3-4" even after a full torque on all exhaust bolts.

the injen does sound NICE. where did u mount the hangers? my resonator pipes rattle against the crossmember even with spacers on the long bolts. did u modify the left pipe a little too so the flex pipe woudn't hit the frame?

i didn't modify the pipes but i was going to try to space out the crossmember today. how much did you space it out? I put all of the hangers in the locations it stated in the instructions which is the stock locations, but I think I am going to have to weld on some of my own hangers with where the muffler section bolts on. I can almost touch the two pipes together it moves around so much.

i was able to fit 7 spacers on each of the 4 bolts on the crossmember and it still rattles. espically when im sitting at a light up hill. the bolts wont hold ne more spacers and there is just enough clearance between the pipes. i've been thinking about welding but never liked modifying too much.

What I meant was the exhaust makes the same sound as if it was open headers. Cause the engine definitely doesnt have the high pitch sound of the pro-n1. And I actually said it was definitely quieter than open headers. I dont know if it is from my test pipes, but from the video I have heard(which does make your exhaust sound loud), this exhaust is just as loud. You should stop by my place and check it out!!

I'm willing to be money that the Pro-1 is not loud or high pitched. Ask the many 350Z owners that have it. Video clip sound is a lot different than real life sound.
