The Borla also has a H pipe in it and the Stillen has a X pipe FYI.

I have a question on the TT. OK if I buy the Greddy TT for 6k does it come with everything I need or do I still need to pick some additional items or will I need to change some internals in the engine?

WAT HONDA CIVIC TURBO MAKES 400HP?!?! Are you SURE youve been on the scene for 6 years? Because that shows you know very little. For a stock 140 hp car at most to push over 400 with a turbo even if it lasted 5 miles.. isn't very possible at all. I would LOVE to see pics of this turbo that you know of posted.

I just got off the phone with Kinney's muffler shop, and I know they do good work, but the price they wanted for your system was ridiculous! However, it is quality and custom, and is probably worth it... I just don't see going the route of a custom exhaust if you can't save a few $$$, ya know?

At any rate, congrats on the TT install and I know you will enjoy it!!! I've got to take a ride in a Greddy-equipped Z the other day and my head was spinning! Definitely worth every penny, imo...

the civic isnt the honda that exists there hoss.. I have an accord with a h22 swap (prelude engine) the h22 is a 2.2 litre dual cam setup. I can post dyno #'s up once i find the link. a precision sc61 turbo is the turbo for the job.

hey bro,
one thing you do have to consider is their Greddy's brillant marketing scheme.

yeah you can get the turbo for 6k maybe including intercooler usually not...
but to make the kit complete you need the greddy evo2 exhaust which is about 1100 more...

To get the peak hp.

have any of you looked closely at the a/f graph on the dyno charts...?!??!?

he's running about 12.8-13.0 from 4400-5500 rpm. then it drops, but still is over 12:1 at 6000 rpm.

i think this has something to do with the high HP output on the 5AT car, but i don't think running this lean is worth the dyno numbers... good luck!

SKiz

that is because the valve we installed to prevent boost spike on the 5AT kicked in. It only allows 6.7 PSI then blows out the over boost atmospheroically.

Quick shout out to the Honda boys for hijacking my thread again.

The 5950.00 plus :
plugs, fluid, labor, tuning, misc parts. Runs about 8900-9300.00 out the door on the avg. Everyone wants something different, but you get the idea.

are speaking about a blow-off valve, or a wastegate?

Pop Valve, none of the above. Car hit boost spikes of 16 psi pre installation of the this part.

ok... is the valve in the intake piping or exhaust piping?

reason i am so curious is i have my BOV vented to the atmosphere, and my wastegates vented to the atmosphere.... neither of these cause my a/f to be misread...

what are you tuning the car to, then? what is the "real" a/f ratio?
