Default Anyone installed EVO II exhaust yet?

Just wondering if any coupe owners have received/installed the GReddy EVO II exhaust yet - I just got off the phone with RevHigh and placed my order for it - he said it's going to ship out today and I should get it in 3 days (Monday hopefully) - if no one posts impressions on it by then, maybe I'll be the first to do so! Next week is going to be a busy week - got the EVO II and the Kinetix plenum coming in...

btw, I would have ordered it from 350zforums.org (IPDG) if they would have ever answered their phone - they were a whole $10 cheaper (but it's worth $10 to have someone who is going to be able to answer the phone when you need them)... I had called them for two days w/o an answer, and I'm going out of town today, so I wanted to order it now and was tired of waiting...

I've called them too and it took a couple of days for them to get back to me but they did and they were very helpfull answering my questions and they even did a sound clip over the phone of an exhaust i've questioned. But I ended up buying the Evo2 from 350zonlinestore and I will be receiving today and installing today as well. I'll post pics/review as soon as I hear it.

great, that's exciting - BTW, I just got off the phone w/ David at IPDG so I feel bad that I didn't order anything from him - oh well, there always next time (there will be plenty of business from me to spread around!)

Congrats on the new exhaust!!

Recently, their has been quite the buzz re: the Greddy Evo II. However, I have been unable to obtain any performance specs e.g. hp gain, torque gain, does it gain hp/torque throughout the powerband or does it lose power in low rpm's etc.

What has your research yielded?

Also, what price were you quoted?

Thanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, on the Evo II catback, only the muffler is SS, not the back pipes... I believe I heard this from the IS300.net, again, I could be wrong.

Don't know about what other EVO II's are made of, but the EVO II for the Z and G coupe are fully-polished stainless steel - y-pipe into dual pipes (works as a big x-pipe), into dual resonators, into dual EVO II canisters... it better be fully-polished SS for as much as this sucker costs!

also GReddy doesn't publish power numbers for this exhaust, so everyone is completely in the dark - I bought it based on the design, the sound, and the feedback from Z owners who already have it... when I talked with Jeff from Evolution, he said that Greddy told him 9 hp, but Jeff said to expect more on actual customer cars w/ other exhaust/intake mods... I'm guessing 10 hp/7-8 tq, but we'll see....

FYI, the entire EVO2 line features full stainless steel piping and construction. The original EVO exhausts had aluminized piping with stainless mufflers.

those are real optimistic HP numbers. it's pretty difficult to get a lot of HP from the couple exhaust. if you look at other exhausts, even stillen's numbers aren't that high.
