Default Installed Supercharger, help w/ gauges

Hey everyone,

Im getting the Stillen supercharger installed and wanted to find out a few things..

I need a gauge pod for the g35 coupe... I noticed that autometer makes one for the 350z , will this work on the 350z???

also, i would like to get a Boost and EGT gauge, which ones should i get? I like the HKS and greddy white faced gauges, anyone know where i can get them cheap, or at least give me the right part number to order??

Thanks for all your help.

i'm not sure if the 350z gauge pod would fit. there are people who actually made custom gauge pods for the G35s tho...

If you want HKS or GReddy gauges, they won't be very cheap. I also like APEXi EL gauges....they light up real nice at night, and they're also white-faced gauges.

I have Greddy ones in my 240...simple looking but I really like the blitz gauges. I would definitely get the electronic one with the peak holds etc. They aren't cheap and you won't find cheap gauges unless you get used ones.

The gauges you might be reffering to are the Defi gauges

Jimmy im in the same position. Im holding off install of my vortech till i get my a pillar pod. Ive been in touch with m3 about making a custom pillar. Ive seen the ones he has made and they look so much better than the autometer stuff. Price was about 335 for the drivers side. That was with him supplying a new a pillar from the dealer and dual 52mm pods. This is a good idea for resale down the road as you can take off the custom pillar and re-install the old one. As for gauges i went with the autometer ultralite, very close match to our g35 silverish gauges, and you can change the boot on the light to orange so it matches our stock interior lighting quite closely. Pricing for the autometer gauges is also pretty decent. I went with a vaccuum/boost electronic, and egt gauge.

I have seen, on the G without nav, the gauges put in the pass. side where the nav disc would go. easy to hide and a great place for them.

Did you tap in the sensor on the exhaust manifold right near the head?
