roo from top secret here....
As far as urethane goes, let me tell you why hardly noone uses it:
1.) it's heavy, much heavier than fiberglass parts
2.) it tends to sag over time due to the weight and flexability
3.) it's flexible, the paint on it isn't, you do the math...
4.) when damaged, it's virtually impossible to repair to it's original condition
5.) it's expensive materials-wise and more costly to ship due to weight
The bad reputation Fiberglass has in the states is due to the flood of fake replicas and copies of body parts. Alot of these parts are made in sweatshops in asia with sub-par materials and from imperfect molds. The results are weak, fragile pieces that never fit properly. Keep in mind they are made illegally from copis of copies and the xerox rule applies here which is why they never fit correctly.
If you bought an authentic Top Secret G35 front bumper, I can assure you would recieve a part that fits perfectly without any need for a body shop to modify it. You would recieve a part that is made of lightweight, flawless, strong, and durable fiberglass.
With that in mind, I discourage any of you from pushing to produce and unauthorized replicas or copies of any brand's products. Any company found to be producings/selling such products will be met with our legal staff. (sorry, but we don't take kindly on people who steal our designs to make a quick buck)
I will let the design team know about your interest in carbon front lip for the G35 and see what I can do. If you have any further questions or comments please feel free contact me at: roo@topsecretjpn.com as I cannot check these boards regularly.
Thank You,
roo
P.S. None of our products are "unattainable." you can find anything you need here:

If you make a CF front lip for the G35 coupe and make it somewhat affordable (I love your front bumper - it's definitely #1 on my list, but I'm not paying over $1000 for it!) I WILL BE FIRST IN LINE!!!
If you're front bumper was about $200-300 cheaper, it would probably be on my car already...

That lip is not Carbon fiber. It's fiberglass I asked bulletproofautomotive. I heared that somebody from g35driver.com is going to make the oem lip in carbonfiber. It just takes some time. I think that www.kozlikracing.com is going to sell carbon parts. However It looks like they are still making the website, because it says coming soon..
Anyways I I am in for that lip too, Carbon fiber is the way to go!

that is one nice looking lip! got anymore pictures of it? i still dig the 350z top secret lip more though..... anyone wanna tackle a relica or a look a like for the G?
i know, i've already given a proposal to Vis, and c-wings (importfan.com) but it looks like they'd rather make their silly looking CF trunks and oem wings than cashing in on a CF oem front lip, something many of us would actually consider buying over a CF trunk..
