if you want stock like noise... just deeper and meaner... NO RASP NOT OVERLY LOUD...... FUJITSUBO is your answer.

nothing more.

I think the RSR is the deepest, IMO.

What about Greddy? Is that loud or deeper than stock? What about performance which is better Greddy or RSR or Fujitsubo?

Reason why " I " think FUJITSUBO is better is because....

#1 Looks stock. Except for the Big round tips. Other wise you can not see the muffler since its tucked under the body like the stock one. SO unless you know what you looking for You aint gonna recognize it.

#2 FUJI has a 3 inch pipe straight back Plus if you add the Y pipe to it... it becomes a lot more free flowing since the Diameter on the 2 are matched.

#3 like i said before is the sound.

I think GReddy makes good stuff.... but i seen the way their exhaust for the G looks and i dont like how the mufflers hang low a bit and you can see them. But they do make great products. PLus i think its a bit more raspy and droans.

I dont like Borla cause i heard it and seen it in person... and although they do make it a true dual. I like the larger diameter of the FUJI vs 2 separate pipes.

Performance wise.... i think exhaust does add some power... but moest of your power will come from doing the Y pipe along with exhaust. I would also do a set of headers just to make for a better air flow.

THERE was a site somewhere... where you can hear ALL exhaust in pics... as well as hear the SOUND CLIPS to each one. I will see if i still have the link. There are about 30 different once on there. SOme are for 350Z though... and some that are only in JAPAN... but out of all of them i listened i think fuji is best.

had full fuji myself....

get crawford h/f cats matched to it...

give it AT LEAST 600-800 miles, and you will be VERY impressed with the bigger, deeper sound of it. It is very well mannered at low throttle, and when WOT, it sounds AWESOME...

i know sound is very subjective, but i have had the borla system too, and the fuji is by far my favorite....

their y-pipe is dual channel, and (the new version at least) has a cross balancer tube @ mid-channel.... this helps keep flow even ....

the fuji welds are like a stack of dimes.....

i am not a fuji rep. and i approve this testimonial...

:^)

Actually the FUJITSUBO in 76.3mm in Z33 application's only, for the CPV35 it use's 70mm piping.

Strictly from a power production point, looking at the entire powerband, not just a narrow portion of the rev range, the Stillen TD would be the best. Were talkng HP AND torque. Followed by the Nismo. FUJITSUBO, is alledged to build the Nismo exhaust. But, the Nismo that did well in the dyno comparo, use's 76.3mm piping, not 70mm.

Real world numbers from the 350Z sports magizine dyno shoot out. Look at torque and where the power is delivered and over what range. Notice that the Borla only offers up it's gains in the last 1000 rpm's of the rev range.

Borla (car 2) = 8.2 Hp - 2.7 ft/lbs torque (peak values)
HP increase from 5500 rpm to 6500 rpm range. Lost HP & torque below 1800 rpm. 60mm pipe. Weighs 52lbs.

Stillen (car 1) = 8.1 Hp - 7.3 ft/lbs torque (peak values)
Hp and torque increase starting around 3000 rpm to redline. Lost a little Hp & torque below 1800 rpm. 60mm pipe. 74lbs - 10 lbs heavier than the stock system.

Injen (car 1) = 7.6 Hp - 5.1 ft/lbs torque (peak values)
Small torque loss at 2800 rpm. Torque gain starts at 3300 rpm. Small Hp increase starts at 3300 rpm, maxing out from 5800 rpm to redline. Major loss in Hp and torque below 2200 rpm. 49lbs.

Nismo (car 1) = 6.3 Hp - 4.5 ft/lbs torque (peak values)
Developed torque and Hp over wide rpm range. Torque increase starting at 3000 rpm. Most HP increase from 4800 rpm to redline. No power losses below 1800 rpm. 54lbs.

5Zigen (car 2) = (-3.4) Hp - .02 ft/lbs torque (peak values) Lost Hp, no real torque gain. Most expensive. Loudest. 58mm pipe. Lightest @ 25lbs.

stillen would have problem w/ exhaust leak when install......cuz of the GASKET never sealed the gap 100%. I got my installed yesterday and very impressive w/ the gain; however, there is a small leak which need to be sealed later on.

**cough,cough**GReddy**cough,cough**

Seriously... looks mean as hell and sounds even meaner... I just swapped out the test pipes for resonated pieces, and I'm in heaven! It seriously sounds better than anything else I've ever heard on the street, period... the heads it turns when I hit the throttle are ridiculous! Definitely was worth every penny I spent on it...

Do you have a sound clip of your Greddy exhaust? Where did you buy the carbon fiber (engine cover)?
