Default Forced Induction kits...

Are they are turbo kits for the G35 with automatic transmissions? I don't won't to get a super charger because the hood has to be replaced. So far, Greddy's turbo kit only works on the 6MT.

Thanks.

There are a few super charger kits that don't require you to change the oem hood. Allthough I myself want the greddy tt kit

it's always a good idea to upgrade your internals...and there are many parts available for our cars...

i think GReddy advertises as we don't have to upgrade as long as we run it at the stock boost...which should be darn close to 400whp....

The thing is that I have an automatic g35 coupe, so I don't think the Greddy kit will work for me.

Have you heard of Speed Force Racing ?
They have a kit for the auto but I don't know much about them do you or anyone else ?

Thanks,
if I get a turbo I will be upgrading the internals.

We have turbocharged a few automatic G35s, and exceeded 400WHP without problems to the engine, or transmission.

As I remember, you didn't retard timing...I don't mean to question your expertise but I don't think that was a very safe setup.

You can use the Greddy Kit on a G35 5AT, I know I did it 5 months ago. I used the e-manage, although I just took the e-manage off and added new black box so I can retard the timing. But the stock greddy system produced 345 HP & 375 TQ at the rear wheels, pulls very strong.

I also have a g35c auto.

Do you have any problems with the tranny ?

I'm going turbo also in the spring but now I'm not sure if I'll get the Greddy or the PE.

Did you have problems installing it ?

I spoke with Greddy and they said I need a to upgrade the tranny first, did you ?

Thanks !

I just had Level 10 rebuild the value body, but I did it to get stronger, harder shifts, not that I needed any tranny work.
For the first few thousand miles I did not have any problems with the stock tranny, I only had the value body rebuilt for stronger shifts.
