is that true, i was reading another post and they said the new G has a redline of 7rpm. That sucks for us current G35 owners unless they have a ecu reflash

Yes, the 2005 G35 6MT will have 298hp, 260tq, and a 7000 RPM redline due to exhaust side valve timing and numerous "structural improvements" which most likely came from the NISMO S1 engine.

 

I guess I haven't read much about the 05's but 7k is a pretty good upgrade.

 

So it will have less torque? That sucks.....

 

You sound like Orange Peel with the whole torque thing.
