Hotchkis springs installed *PICS*
Had them installed on Saturday and the drop is really nice. Body roll was reduced considerably and the whole TVS Stage 1 kit (sways and springs) has made a major difference in handling. Can't wait till they fully settle and get an alignment to really test it out

Thats a nice drop - clean G you have there. Let us know if you have any alignment issues. I have the Hotchkis sways as well and absolutely love them. That Impul spoiler really works well too, IMO.

Your G looks good! Do you know what the drop is from stock? Has it settled much since installation, and how is the alignment? Sorry for bombarding you w/ questions, but I just ordered them myself, so I want to know more about what I've gotten myself into. Thanks.

Those are the first lowering springs that I have seen that make the car still look good without rolling the fenders, etc. I like it! Very Nice!
I've heard that some lowering springs can actually get rid of the horrid bounce found in 2003 350Zs. I kinow the g35c rides differently but have you heard anything about the Hotchkis springs resolving this issue and/or have you felt a difference in ride?

vlm7: Hotchkis advertises a 9/16" drop up front, and a 3/4" drop in the back. I didn't do any before measurements but I'd say it's slightly closer to 1" all around. They don't seem to have settled any more since Saturday. I'm waiting till next Saturday to get an alignment. Hopefully the alignment isn't too far out of whack
350zluvr: I honestly don't know about the bounce with the Z. Never driven one, but my G never exhibited any bouncing, even on the horrible roads here in NJ. I remember reading about someone with the Hotchkis springs on a Z, do a search and maybe you can find that out.

Yes, its very important to get an alignment after lowering springs are installed. Even with the mild drop of H-Techs my #'s were way out after the spring install. There is a possibility it won't be an exactly even drop on both sides but its not a widespread problem and I wouldn't worry about it.

SponG: Those pics were taken the day it was lowered, and it has settled just slightly more since then. Nothing drastic.
I actually just got my alignment yesterday (2 months later ). Unfortunately, nobody in my area wants to touch lowered cars, and the one place I found that would do it doesn't give you any kind of print out on the alignment specs. I asked the tech, and he said that both the front and rear were just BARELY out of spec, and that it wouldn't really be an issue with tire wear.

If you lower your car ~0.7 inches or more, I'd suggest getting a camber kit for correction.
The stock suspension components will not adjust for negative camber if going ~0.7 inches or more...
