I need help with my strut bar, and I have no G35driver.

The strut bar is rubing on the hood a bit, is that normal, i know there are problems like that.

Its the NRG aka richie strut

it's normal. it happens to just about everyone, if not everyone. as long as it's not pushing the hood itself up, youre fine.

I think its pushing it up a bit.

I need to get in contact with richie, i want to order new bolts for it also.

you can buy the bolts at home depot, lowes, or any other hardware store. in fact, those bolts will probably be stronger.

is your bar as low as it can go? because even at it's lowest point it will rub. any higher and it might push the hood up.

Get some torches... dont worry about the hood liner, just torch a small hole in the hood to allow it to clear... Or you could take the hood off, lay it upside down int he driveway and hammer the area in that is rubbing..

well i guess this is the perfect time to upgrade to that clear see through hood!

Mabe I will just go get some at the Home Depot..

Also another stupid questions for those who have a strut.

Where are the washers supposed to go?
inside the bracket or on the outside?

I cut every other spoke out of my wheels to save on rotating mass. You would be amazed at how much stronger it feels out of the hole.
