I have the angle tip since 8/2003. No problem whatsoever. The exhaust hangs a little low, so if you scrap it, it might leak, I have welded all my places that used to leak, now it operates just fine. Great performance

i really liked the injen until i hear this. I also didnt know it was that close to the ground, have others had trouble with scratching and scraping the ground??? If so what other exhausts are similar in sound and price to this?
I have little sparkles on the back of my Z from what might be my Injen exhaust as well. I'm going to e-mail them right now. Oh and Mikeyj217 if you want to see or hear the Injen exhaust in person PM me and I'll meet up with you and show it too you.

I just got an email back from injen:
Hey Chris,
Where and when was this system purchased? Also, we have not had this problem with the 350z, this was occurring with the G35 coupe exhaust which is a different design. If you could please send pictures, that will help greatly.

Here was the response I got:
That is not a likely occurrence, with the 350z. This something that we will
look into as we have these systems on a few race vehicles with no problems
whatsoever. If you can please forward me some images, we can go from there.
The problem occurred with the G35 coupe and not the 350z- which are two
different systems.

maybe im an idiot but i have the injen straight tip true dual and have never had a problem with it, and im wondering the fiberglass everyone is speaking of, is that coming from like the resonators or something???
It's my understanding that the "Z" and "G" systems are the same except for 7" being added to the length of the pipes. I'd like a statement from Injen telling us exactly what is different, and why only the "G" system is a problem.
