Worst part is, since that post, I've lost almost all the fiberglass in both resonators. Duy at Injen was extremely helpful and I have new primaries on the way. Hopefully that fixes it.

I have the angle tip since 8/2003. No problem whatsoever. The exhaust hangs a little low, so if you scrap it, it might leak, I have welded all my places that used to leak, now it operates just fine. Great performance

i really liked the injen until i hear this. I also didnt know it was that close to the ground, have others had trouble with scratching and scraping the ground??? If so what other exhausts are similar in sound and price to this?

Thumbs up Looks like were ok!

I just got an email back from injen:

Hey Chris,

Where and when was this system purchased? Also, we have not had this problem with the 350z, this was occurring with the G35 coupe exhaust which is a different design. If you could please send pictures, that will help greatly.

Best,

Here was the response I got:
That is not a likely occurrence, with the 350z. This something that we will
look into as we have these systems on a few race vehicles with no problems
whatsoever. If you can please forward me some images, we can go from there.
The problem occurred with the G35 coupe and not the 350z- which are two
different systems.

It's my understanding that the "Z" and "G" systems are the same except for 7" being added to the length of the pipes. I'd like a statement from Injen telling us exactly what is different, and why only the "G" system is a problem.
