Default Manifold???

Its a stupid question but i really need to know whats the diffrence between Intake manifold and Exhaust manifold or is it the same??

I thought the exhaust manifold was pretty much the headers. the intake manifold is like the plenum. Pretty much the difference is one is the entering manifold on the engine for air and the other is the exiting manifold (exhaust). Is that what you were asking?

What ttsupra94 said. The only thing that I would add is that the plenum, as it is referred to, is only the top portion of a two piece "collector". There is another manifold that connects the collector to the heads.
