Default Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust?

I currently have the RSR with kinetix hf cats and gruppe s y pipe. I just installed the cats and i have finally come to the decision that i can't stand how loud this is even with the silencers in. I already dont hear incredibly well. My question is, if i get the fujitsubo exhaust, and still use the hf cats and gruppe-s y pipe will i notice a large change in how loud the car is??? I have heard everywhere that this is the quietest exhaust so i'm thinking it will be with these other parts but just want some reassurance. If anyone has this setup, i'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

I have R/T Cats, DC Headers, Nismo Y-Pipe and a Fujitsubo. It is Very Mellow. I know you would like how quiet it is.

The fujitsubo will be quiter, probably sound a little deeper as well. The RSR exhausts are louder than many others out there for this car. I would actually recomend either the stillen or injen, or even the new HKS Ti for you, if you wanted a quiter sound but equal or more performance. You can always sell the parts that you have now, there's a decent demand for them.

PM me if you have any more questions.

the fujitsubo is hands down the quietest exhaust for the car, but sounds different from stock. Since you already have the Y pipe and cats, performance will be no different from a "dual" system

We've installed a few Fujitsubo's as well, and I have to admit that they are quiet compared to most other exhaust. They sound great once you are at higher RPM's.

Bottom line, it sounds closer to stock than other exhauts in the market.

Ok, how about the Invidia G200. I've heard thats pretty quiet too, how so compared to the Fujitsubo? I'm not too concerned about the performance of the exhaust because almost all the aftermarket exhausts are efficient enough. Really just going for something quiet, i dont want to have to turn my radio up and down depending how fast i'm going anymore. The fujitsubo would be nice since i can keep the aftermarket y pipe and it is pretty inexpensive. I like the setup of the g200 also but it is a true dual.

Yeah, that would work with the fujitsubo, but i dont think there is much related info yet with the Invidia since it is fairly new.

Well, i'm sure i've looked through them all before. I was just looking for as recent info as possible since I will have to make a decision on which exhaust to get as soon as the body shop can fit me in. Thanks. I usually do use the search button but i understand your concern.

why not go back to stock? if you still have it. the y-pipe and the cats are the only restitive part of the exhaust and I still love the sound of the stock exhaust

I'm not a fan of how it looks, plus i'm not really paying for it. I got rearended and the exhaust got messed up so they have to either get me another RSR or i can use the price of the RSR towards something else. I just dont want a loud exhaust anymore. I actually really want the HKS hi-power ti dual but i'm not sure how loud that will be with the other stuff i have. Thats why i'm think i'm going to get either the Fujitsubo or the Invidia G200. If it wasn't so much, i'd get the fujitsubo titanium but that is like $1985 or something.

IMO, the Fujitsibo's are *NOT* quiet.

As fixdrummer said up above, you could always go back to the stock muffler and b-pipe, and just use a Kinetix y-pipe. The Kinetix y-pipe is the same diameter as the stock pipes (2.5"), so it bolts right up. I have a Nismo exhaust right now and it's way too loud, so I'm switching back to the stock exhaust with Kinetix y-pipe. If you do headers, cats, and a y-pipe, you've covered all the problem areas on the Z.

sorry, just curious but are you going by the sound clips or personal experience?

because the fujitsubo's are comparatively quiet. that sound clip is a bit misleading.

it does sound nice once you get on it, but very quiet during normal freeway cruising and idling.

I am basing it on that sound clip. I have a good pair of speakers on my PC and most sound clips of exhausts I've played have come out pretty close to the real life sound.

If what you say is true, then I think I may have found the exhaust I would get. I loved the way it sounded in the clip. And if its quiet at idle/cruising speed... nice!
