I email those guys. Thinking of getting one myself if the specs are better than 350evos.

I had proflow bore the throttle body on my other car. I would have no problem trusting them to do qualtiy work, especially if they are cheaper than the competition.

Here's the answer I got. How does it compare to the 350EVO TB?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The bore goes from 70mm stock, to 72mm at the plate, and the inlet is tapered out to 78mm.

We do have a core for exchange, although there is a short waiting list.

Let me know if we can help.

Thanks,
Jim

maybe 1-2 hp - seriously, but most likely a nice gain in throttle response.

.. i know someone on this board has one.. i saw it in his sig... and it would be benificial with a crawford cast plenum... cuz its portmatched a little bigger for aftermarket TB's... and w/ the TS flash becuase that lets the TB stay at 100% all the way to redline

That was exactly my planned setup. My TB should be at proflow tomorrow, so I might have it back by the end of the week. I will post up some pics when I get it back.

The bored out your existing throttlebody, replace the throttle plate and modify the shaft that holds the throttle plate.

The modification to the shaft is very noticable. It realy lowers the profile of it. You have no shaft extending in front of the throttle plate, only the low profile screws. Also, the walls of the throttle body are very thin now.

Oh Oh! You have a guy with a camera inside your TB! That's going to obstruct airflow....................

if & when you guys recieve your throttle bodies, check to see that threadlock was used on the little screws in there. im sure proflow uses it but you cant be "too safe"! if one of those screws backed out & sucked into your engine it would scary......i mention this because there were numerous stories of this in the mustang aftermarket where the screws had come loose..........
im curious to hear from zivman once he gets his T.B. installed..........

I don't know about thread lock, but I trust proflows work. Anyways, I have it installed, but my car is in storage until March, so I haven't driven it, only started it up so I can't comment on gains.
