Has anyone tried this exhaust on their Z?

I have one on my Supra, and it sounds fantastic. Deep and mean as hell, with absolutely no hint of rice or rasp whatsoever. Loud, but not so loud that it bothers passengers, nor attracts local police (at least not here).

Hands down the best sounding system I've had on a car.

Wondering if that would carry over on the Z version?

Dude, I''ve got my Nur-Spec lying around and waiting to get installed.

Give me about 2-3 weeks and I can give you some soundfiles from a fresh install.

Wow, very different sound. I'd have to hear it in person though.

 

It sounds great. Ive had mine on for 5 months now. The exhaust system comes with a midpipe and muffler. The sound is more towards the quiet end of the spectrum, but i after i put on the JIC y-pipe, it got a tad louder. If you still arent satisfied with the sound, you could always put on some test pipes, resonated test pipes, or hi flow cats. I have a clip of it but i need someone to host it.

I wanna hear the clip! I am interested in this exhaust for my Z...how is the fitment on the Z with the blitz exhaust? Is it a true dual exhaust?

Nope, no true dual. It has a b-pipe.

Mine will get installed next week and I hope I can make some "stock vs. blitz" vid's.

The only exhaust I would buy without thinking for the Z is the new HKS. It's just awesome!

 

i agree! i want the HKS SOOO BAD! Thats why im thinking of selling my JIC y-pipe and Blitz exhaust so i can afford taht SOB.

in the clip posted, it doesnt sound like the car is being revved above 3K rpms. I want to know what it sounds like at full throttle while driving
