Default greddy sp2

just got my rear section greddy exhaust im going to be making a custom y pipe as well as custom piping to the new muffler. should I put a resonator in it?

I guess its personal preference but I have heard a sound clip of a Z with the resonator removed from the stock exhaust and it sounded very raspy. I also had a B&B exhaust that didn't have a mid-pipe resonator and I didn't care much for it either. The mid-pipe is already pretty much a straight through shot, so unless your using a different diameter of pipe I would consider re-using the stock one.

so ill go a bigger pipe from stock with a resonator and remove my cats

imcool,

I am dropping my car off at your shop tomorrow. You can check out my set up. I have the SP2 with test pipes, y-pipe, and b pipe with resonator. I would recommend the resonator. I had a little rasp even with the resonator. After I installed the Top Speed headers the rasp was unbearable. I added a 2nd resonator and it sound better.

Yes, I have 2 resontors on the b-pipe.
