This is not a step-by-step instruction but it should be helpful. Good luck with the install.

use the instructions for the Crawford headers install at crawfordZcar.com. helped me out greatly. You just need to realize what you won't need to do for your particular brand. I wish I would have installed crawfords instead.

Thanks guys..

and i thought stillen's put out pretty good numbers? or was it BS? did you not feel the affect? I have been very hesitant to install these headers after reading about alphawerks and crawfords and the numbers that they are putting down but I feel like if i dotn just get these on now I'll never do anything about it, not to mention I suck at re-selling stuff lol.

It was impossible for me to say that they did or did not increase my cars performace since I installed all of my mods at one time last spring. I have not done any dynos so I have no idea what my numbers were or are at this time. I do know that my car perfoms very well compared to other modded Zs out on the track. I was quite happy when I was able to out perform another modded Z that also had the 3.917 final drive and other mods B4 I had the new final drive installed. I thought for sure that he would have no problem pulling on me in the straights with the 3.9 but that was not the case.
I just wish that I had spent the few extra bucks and endured the more diffucult install for the Crawfords. CrawfordZcar seems to be the only company that is continually developing a Proven, COMPLETE NA engine performance package for our Zs.

there's also a nismo header install guide on 350zmotoring.com, and i believe the topspeed install is more similar to nismo than crawfords, which require you to lift the engine a bit, from what i have read.

the guide i give you is dont do it, yourself and if you do buy a ratchet wrench dont blow me off on this one buy a 14mm ratchet rench itll save you alot of time believe me, my suggestion is drain the coolant and then have your friends disconnect on the coolant lines on the passenger side while you disconnect with your friend the coolant lines on the driver side so things go quicker and smoother, oh and alot of extensions buy more extensions, enough to be almost as long as your arms makes it ten times easier for tight spots

hence my statement about what won't apply to this particular install. Actually I used instructions compiled by a fellow member, peptidbond, which were very easy to follow, but the link in his post is no longer working.
