Default High rise plenum spacer

With all the talk of Plenum spacers I have been reading lately I got to wondering about a high rise plenum spacer. It is a radical idea and maybe not even worth wondering about. But if (emphasise IF) it is possible to get even more performance out of a aftermarket plenum by putting a spacer underneath it would it be worth trying? The obvious problem for a Z, and not as much with the G, is hood space. That's the first problem I thought of and then the image of a polished Crawford Plenum, the latest one, sticking through a hole in the hood of my Z (the "radical" part of my idea) flashed inside my head. And it reminded me of a '69 Mach I with the shaker hood. This would not be something I would actually do to my Z but if the extra volume in the plenum offered enough gains (probably a stretch) maybe some of you tuner guys would like the idea. Or maybe I just need to get some sleep!! Maybe it would be good for a full on custom Z that wants a unique look. Maybe one of you photoshoppers' can do that one up for me?
Oh, just shoot me!!

You didn't notice the 2 or 3 other threads regarding spacers?

If you are going to do something that extreme you might as well get a whole new lower plenum designed as well to accomodate a larger volume upper plenum, then not having to suffer your hood.
