I am thinking that for even $115 or so, it would be worth it IMO to just buy a set off ebay directly.

OKAY, new news. I just got off the phone with Megan Racing. Good news and bad news depending on how you look at it. I explained the whole story to him with te deal I and "Built4race" from ebay had worked out. He confirmed that there was a one week promotional price and that it was no longer available and probably wouldn't be again. He said the price would continue to go up as the demand rose. He was saying that this was a new product in their line for the 350z. He also said that they would be regulating all of the prices listed on ebay from now on to have a price floor on them not letting them go below a certain dollar amount. Im not sure how high he meant. I tried my best to haggle him down as low as possible, even staing that most of our cars are in shows and would be more advertising for them. The best price he would give is $130 shipped in the lower 48 or $120 picked up. No matter what the quantity. He didnt say that we had to go through the normal GB process since I have talked it over with him. The GOOD NEWS, even though we are paying more than the original ebay auctions, we should still be paying less than future sales and auction s from now on. ALSO, and maybe worth the money in my opinion is that as opposed to getting the 1 month warranty thru "built4race", we would have the original manufacturers 1 year warranty against any defects since we are dealing with them directly. Along with their customer service...etc, etc. SO, I say yo u might want to go scouting around on ebay and see fi you can find any more sets that havent been price hiked yet and grab them. If you are interested in the better warranty and/or cant find anymore ebay sets then go with Megan Racing directly. Their website is www.meganracing.com, and if you want to buy from them call (909)598-8082 and ask for ANDREW, he is the one I dealt with and should be familiar if you call, just say your part of the 350Z club that was organizing the groupbuy. Other than that, again I appoligize for this going out as originally planned, I wish I could have done better for you. I can answer any other questions you have. THANKS. FYI, I will be buying my set through Megan Racing directly, just cause I like the warranty idea, especially if a weld cracks in 10 months from now and the price has gone as high as say the kinetix, its worth it. THANKS AGAIN!!!
Mike

OKAY, more new news , ha. After seeing the website zachrosen posted I called Andrew from Megan Racing back and tried to negotiate again. He RE-stated to me that these prices will be going up to supposedly $150 plus shipping as soon as they contact all of their distributors. www.streetcustoms-usa.com IS selling them for $115 at the moment and they also have several ebay auctions up with starting prices at $90 plus 20 shipping. They, however, give NO warranty. "Built4race" still has a few auctions up with starting prices at $90 with 20 shipping as well with a 1 month warranty. After busting Andrews ***** for a few minutes with this he said he would take another $10 off to make it $120 SHIPPED in the lower 48 states WITH a 1 year warranty. So, thats all I know to do at the moment, If lookin for the ebay auctions, just type "350z down pipes" in the search bar and you will get all of "built4race" and all of "streetcustoms-usa.com" auctions for the above mentioned prices or you can call ANDREW at (909)598-8082 to buy direct. Wheew, sorry for the long read.

Atftrading,
Andrew knew who you were when I mentioned the GB as the guy that came to pick a set up for his Z this week. He said even if you did try to come back and buy in person the price would be more. If you can do better then please do, im just trying to help out

Good, I understand their mentality, I mean business is business, but it pisses me off, ha. Let us know, if he can help out. You know Im down. Thanks

Bahraini350Z- if we do end up doing this I will re-ship them to you for as cheap as I can. I wonder exactly how big they are because I shipped an intake off my sportbike to a guy in Taiwan using global priority mail for $10, I though tit was a joke, but Postal service said if you can fit it in the box, its a flat rate.

YBLegal, there is someone on this forum who had made and/or knows how to make a thing to prevent the CEL from coming on. I dont know exactly what it is since I dont get a CEL with my current test pipes.
