as for the rasp..i know i had the rasp before since i took out my resonator so either way i have rasp at about 4k-45k its not the annoying fart can rasp doh..kinda sounds exotic IMO..
my friend should be getting his installed on a bonestock so will see how the sound turns out on that...

ahh, okay.. that explains everything.. when I removed my stock resonator, it was very raspy.. so I don't think it's from the test pipes then...

sounds like a great buy.. I am definitely down now..

the result is going to be a bit of turbulence at the joint... unless of course you fabricate a 2.5" to 2.25" adapter and weld it into your stock y-pipe

most ppl run into this issue when buying an aftermarket y-pipe, but keeping the mid-pipe/muffler stock (with the exception of the kinetix y-pipe which matches up to stock diameters both front and back)

any comments from ppl who are running larger diameter y-pipes? is there a noticeable loss in performance due to turbulence?
i have the setup you described: larger ypipe with stock bpipe...gained 6hp on dynoing immediately after install anyway.
Re: those tpipes, the resonators look very small, and based on the cost, i hope in this case its not "you get what you pay for", but it usually is. Proof will be after prolly 50 miles of break-in.

of topic a little, but when you guys say remove the stock resonator, is that a cutting and welding affair?
