Evo2 & Helix installed (Pics)
Hey guys just wanted to show you guys my Evo2 install with Helix testpipes installed. The process took the shop like 3 hours to do since the downpipes were so snugged in the headers. Each Cat took about an hour to do and I felt sorry for the guy who did it which made him so tired and weak! But it turned out great. I had the EGT sensor put in on the downpipe since I didnt have it put on my headers when I did my turbo install. Here are some pics of it!

any of you Evo2 guys noticed a rattle coming from the back? I have to get the rattle checked out again. Anyways, the sound of the exhuast and downpipe sounds great. No raspy sound with the downpipe. I have yet to dyno it, maybe sometime next week. I will post dyno results of the before and after exhaust installed, as well as soundclips of the Evo2 and a sound

in your first "downpipe" photo, it looks as if the exhaust comes to a "Y" after the test pipes. i could have sworn, before i saw the greddy evo2 having more or less a "dual-y" looking configuration, with both sides coming into what looked like a dual in/dual out muffler, before going back to the rear of the car. anyhoo, i like the looks of it, and as always, any dyno information/clips are always applauded! looks nice!

ahhh, now thats the original version Evo. It does not come fully stainless steel pipes. Now the Evo2 comes with the X-pipe. So I guess I got the right setup. Sup Steven!
the reason why it is not loud is because of the turbos. They drown out the rasp and the loudness. I am dynoing my car tomorrow and will post soundclips too. I will keep you guys posted.
