Default header install question

ok i'm in the middle of my header install and was wonder what is the best way to remove the steering shaft on the driver side. upper or lower bolt? by the way i have no directions with my headers. boy that made the passenger side a hole lota fun.

The driver's side is a lot easier than the passenger, but that isn't saying much. The lower bolt is where you want to take it appart. It is actually really easy.
