Describe the noise. If its a sort of ticking noise when you push the gas, its an exhaust leak.

test pipes are raspy anyways, so you should be getting a lot of noise...but like FairladyZ said, describe the noise better

If it is clunking noise then either the test pipe is hitting the body or the test pipe to y-pipe flange is hitting the frame.

You will get more noise in general now towards the front of the babin since the test pipes are right under your feet.

if its a constant "psst" sound coming from under the car, then it sounds like you have an exhaust leak. Just tighten down the bolts or insert some extra gasket material as well

I've got the same sound. Others are experiencing the same noise. There was another thread about it a while back.

It's a hissing sound that is random and minimal at idle but is very noticeable when you pull your foot off the throttle. It sounds sort of like a blow off valve. I also notice the sound when I'm coasting down steep roads (in gear).

I first noticed this sound after I installed my test pipes but it got louder after my Y-pipe was installed.

I've had it checked out by my installers but they weren't able to find a leak.

As an experiment, I applied some exhaust sealant (comes in a tube @ Pep Boys) at all the relevant flanges but the noise persists.

I can live with the sound but I'm concerned that I may be losing some power.

I have the same noise. There are no leaks in my exhaust system (the guys that heard my car at Ricky and Ronnie's Know). Anyways, I made brackets in hopes of it going away. Let's just say I learned to live with the sound

yes! live with it or ditch the TP like I did.. TP aren't for people who are super picky.. If you can handle the noise for some easy HP then more power to ya
