Default Custom single exhaust info/opinion needed

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking of having a fully custom single exhaust made for my Z.

Just wanted to know what diameter piping would be best for everything:

1. Off the cats
2. At the base and end of the "Y" where they meet and attach to the piece before the muffler
3. Back to the muffler

Should there be resonators after the cats? I know a lot of dual exhausts are sold like that, but I noticed most Y-pipes don't have it.

Any feedback, info, pics, vids, anything is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

Jeff

well personally from mine i got a ypipe, becuase finding someone to mandrel bend one for me was to hard, and i still wanted a little backpressure becuase im NA... if you wanted a top end exhuast i wouold get it all custom made w/o many bends in it just a straight ypipe...

so here is what i would do ...
off the cats - 2.5in
ypipe - 2.5 in
after ypipe - 3in and put a resonator in there

check my sig for what i have...

I found a buyer for the GReddy, should have this done in a couple weeks. Most likely going with the HKS Carbon Ti muffler.

You should Take a look at the Jic Ti muffler it is much smaller than the HKS one.
