Will I get anything out of Crawford Plenum
I bought the car it had custom dualed exhaust(not fond of it) then the owner slapped on some fart cans has no Y-pipe straight from exhaust cost 300.00 I found the builder(mufler shop) I am stock except CAI .My question is will the Crawford Plenum help me gain anything that I can feel? This will be my 1st mod , and they say this is the best bang for the buck but not having any other mods, is this a good start. With the funky setup I am sure it breaths better than stock but nerver had a dyno...heck it may have taken HP or at least TQ away with this custom exhaust. I dont have much $$ to play with (wife out of work) so it will take me a while to save up but 400 for 10 HP not bad if it will produce that much ...If not the Crawford Plenum what should I do ..I need help.

With some crisco or vegetable oil, it makes a great frying pan. But the HP gains are supposed to be around 8 at peak and as high as 15-17 past 6000 RPM's. Kinetix V4 is lighter and looks alot better, same gains. Not bad for saving money too. IMO

But I have read the V4 crack . Doug said they will even install free of charge. I wonder if it increases TQ .Maybe I should go with exhaust instead? I want the best bang for the buck for my 1st mod for around 500.00 (maybe that isnt realistic for the Z)

You could probably count the number cracked V4's on one hand and not have to use all your fingers. It looks good, plus keeping you OEM engine cover and stabilizer is a plus. In addition, Kinetix has the BEST customer service I have seen.

Hey sisco. I'm in Nashville too. I was on the fence about getting the plenum or the cats. I decided to go with the cats and am very happy with the results. Since the exhaust on our cars is unanimously considered restricted in stock form I would recommend replacing your cats first, then your components on your intake side.
